Not oft found, this White Coober Peddy Australian Precious Opal is cabochon cut in the form of a lozenge - and decidedly one of the nicest Opals I've seen! In a clean and understated mount, the Opal is flanked on each side with a .15 carat brilliant cut, round VS-SI1 G-H Diamond.
This Opal is solid and features rolling flashes of green, blue, red, orange & yellow. It measures approx 18mm north to south on the finger x 7.50mm east to west and is 3.70mm deep. It is set with 4 corner carriage claws, as are the Diamonds. Mount is 14K white gold, claws 18K. Currently a size 5.75, we can custom size this ring to suit. (Never a charge for custom sizing fine gold rings.)
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with no damage and only minute historic wear. Diamonds: 2, TCW: .30 carat. Weight by scale: 4.90 grams. Markings: A Trademark, EMU and 14K/18K.
An independent gemological appraisal will be provided for this ring.
