Lady's Gold Key Wind Pocket Watch, 14K Red Gold - Early 1800's

A very beautiful key-wind timepiece from England, this has a bubble crystal, very pretty engraved gold face, blue steel hands and dark black Roman Numerals. The back of the watch is also beautifully detailed with deep engraving and a small central cartouche (no monogram).

Keeping good time, the watch was recently serviced. Key is functional, but a modern silver replacement. We are currently looking to find a gold key for it.

Interior dust cover is white metal.

Watch measures 1.5" across and hangs 2" down including the pretty bale.

CONDITION: Very fine antique condition. A small ding on the side of the case at 2 o'clock is mentioned for accuracy. Easy to read black Roman Numerals with no losses. The watch is typically unsigned with the only markings being a serial #1100 and 14 (for 14K confirmed by acid testing). Case is red gold, while the Face is yellow gold with a deep, warm patina. Hand crafted, English. Early Victorian.

Our fine jewelry and timepieces are delivered worldwide at no charge to our clients.
