This Child's Tea Set Is by Ridgways in the scenes of Charles Dicken's "Old Curiosity Shop". All pieces are marked except the cups which only have England on them. There is the Tea Pot with it's lid. A very rare and seldom seen oval Tureen with its lid. Two Cups and Saucers and two dinner plates or Luncheon Plates. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. The Tureen has a fine hairline that is on the inside. It does not show on the outside. The set is very Mint. The Tea Pot stands at 4 3/4" tall to the top of the finial. It is about 6" across from spout to handle. The Tureen is 5 3/4" long from handle to handle. It is 3 3/4" wide. It stands 3 1/4" tall to the top of the finial. The Dinner or Luncheon Plate is 4 1/2" across. The Cup and Saucer is a bit over 2" tall. The Saucer is almost 4 1/4" across. The Cup is almost 3 1/4" from rim to handle. The Cup stands at 1 3/4" tall. Its a lovely set that does not come along very often. Please ask any questions.
