Flow Blue Soup Ladle "Hamilton" By Burgess & Leigh

This ladle was manufactured in England by Burgess & Leigh. This is what i was told when I purchased it. It is marked on the bottom with the pattern name of Hamilton. It also has a RD#2588775 which dates it to 1895 to 1896. It measures 13" long from the bowl to the tip of the handle. The bowl measures 4 1/4" across. It stands at about 1 1/2" tall. It has very fine crazing thru out. Most of the gold trim around the rim is worn off. The gold on the handle is pretty much intact. There is a small indent or tiny chip which looks to me to be in the manufacturing. The bottom of the bowl has three glaze pops which is from the Kiln during the firing. There are no other chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. Soup ladles are very rare. sauce ladles are easy to come by so dont miss this one which is priced to sell. Normally you cant touch one for under $200.00+. Please ask any questions.
