Lovely Johnson Bros. "Strawberry Fair" 12" Oval Platter
This pretty Platter matches the six appetizer plates I have listed. the Platter is in Xlnt condition.
It does have a few utensil marks from use. Not much. Seen when you turn the platter in the light. There is also three very small under glaze circles that are ever so slightly indented. IIt is a manufacturing flaw and only shows when turned into the light. No chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. I dont know the age but these pieces have stilt marks of older manufacturing days. The back side is marked "Strawberry Fair Made In England By Johnson Brothers All Decoration Under The Glaze Permanent & Acid Resisting Colors A Genuine Hand Engraving PAT No 164.860". It is a really pretty pattern and Red color.The Platter measures about 12" long and it is 9 3/4" wide. Please ask any questions.
