1830's Clews Flow Blue Plate by Staffordshire

This is a gorgeous plate with the outstanding blue that Clew's is known for. It is very old. Ca 1830's. it is a 9" plate. It has a few glaze pops. There is also a small chip that has been touched up. It is at the upper left side just above the two glaze pops that show white. There are no other chips, cracks, hairlines or damage that i can see. The back side has three sets of stilts that are in three's. They are the stilts that are small and have three prongs. The scene is at night with buildings in the back ground with a lot of trees and shrubs. There is a bridge. There is a rowboat with three people in it. There are two men on shore. Maybe fishing? The moonlight hits the water just to the right of the seated man on the shore. Please ask any questions.
