Hand Painted Vase
This lovely hand painted vase was made by the Rudolstadt Company, Austria. The flared and scalloped opening at the top of the vase is accented in gold. The faux bamboo arms are highlighted in gold gilt. The bulbous shaped body is exquisitely decorated in varieties of hand painted tulips in shades of pink, burgundy and gold. The leaves are in various blue/green colors. The porcelain background color is a very pale yellow. Notice the delicately painted butterfly on the back. There is some light wear along the top of the vase and its handles. It is free of chips, breaks or repairs. 12"h X 6"w X 6"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1900.
