Walnut Victorian Shelf Clock by Geo B. Owen
This walnut Victorian shelf or mantle clock was made by the Geo. B. Owen Clock Co, Winsted, Conn. The case is in excellent condition, having a rich, warm color and patina. The clock has a carved crest and arched top with fully turned and incised side columns. The arched top door has a replaced glass. The fancy brass pendulum is original. Look carefully and you will see a small acorn shaped finial is missing on the lower right of the pendulum. This does not affect the clock's working or its integrity. The clock retains its original 8 day movement which is in excellent working condition. The clock strikes out every hour and comes with a key which will be necessary to wind once a week. 22.5"h X 14.5"w X 4.75"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1880's.
