Rubina Glass Vase with Enameled Flowers
This beautiful Victorian vase is referred to as rubina art glass. Notice how deep ruby color at the top slowly dissolves to a paler pink to clear at the bottom. The ruffled edge is highlighted in gold. The hand enameled flowers look like peonies and are exquisitely rendered. They display shades of pale yellows, golds and pinks. The glass has a subtle bulbous form and ribbed design. The vase is in excellent condition. 12"h X 5"w X 5"d, Condition: Excellent, Circa: 1890.
