Painted Plant Stand

This three-tiered stand was originally designed to hold plants under a covered porch or a room dedicated to plants. These were immensely popular during the Victorian period. This has some interesting Victorian detailing not generally found, such as the shapely cut out shelf supports and reeded legs. The half round shelves graduate in size from 10" to 21" to 33" wide. They were originally always painted. This one has an older green color repaint, but can be changed to suit any new owner. 36"h X 33"w X 18"d, Condition: Very Good, Circa: 1880-1900.
