Here we have, a very nice, satin finished, stemmed vase. It has a stenciled flower decoration on two sides, with one side having a full flower in bloom, and the other side being a small single flower. Very nice, smooth, satin finish, with the base & top rim having a gold ring. The stem is applied, and has a twisted pattern to it. It measures 10 7/8" high, 3 1/4" wide at the top, 4 3/4" wide at the widest part of the body, and has a 4" base. Great condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a little of the gold missing from the base & top rim, from use and age. This is possibly Italian, but I don't know the maker or origin, seeing that it isn't marked. Could be used as a candle holder, if you wanted to take a chance, but I would use it as a vase or just set it up for decoration! Nice early piece! Probably from the 1940's-50's.
