Here we have, a nice Quimper, Peasant Woman, plate. It is in great condition, with mostly factory flaws. I noticed one spot on the edge that may be a nick in the glaze, but it could be where the glaze didn't take. There are other spots on the back side where it was fired, and set on the rests that look almost the same, and some spots that are dimpled where the glass just didn't go. It has blue trim, with green blue, red, and yellow flowers decorating the body of the interior, and a Peasant woman in the center. It measures 7 1/2" wide, 7/8" high, and has a 4 3/8" base. Dates to the early 1900's, and is marked HR Quimper, underneath the center decoration! Great piece for a collection of Quimper pottery!!
