Here we have, a nice, early, Roseville Pottery, cow pitcher. The coloring is a beige background, with green tree leaves around the top, and green around the bottom, with it fading into the background color. The tree trunk and cow are brown, as is the handle. Wished it were perfect, but it is crazed, and has a chip on the spout, and about three small ones around the base, and on the interior there is about a 2" interior hairline, that doesn't go through the piece, but is there. Have no idea as to what the dark spot is on the bottom of the interior. It is under the glaze, and could have been some spilt paint, that just got left there. Still a nice piece for a collection! You don't see these often, and usually they have some type of damage, as this one does. This is early 1900 or maybe late 1890's, and is unmarked!!!
