Here we have, a nice, Nippon, scroll footed, serving bowl. It is in great condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some wear to the gold on the feet, and around the top edge, due to age, and use. It measures 4 3/4" high, 7 1/4" wide across the top, and 5 1/4" at the feet. It is marked in blue, under the glaze, with a leaf, and NIPPON underneath, and Hand Painted to the right of the mark. There is a crazing mark to the right of the marking. Still some dirt around the top, where I haven't cleaned it completely, but will get that gone. Great piece to add to a collection. The coloring is a dark blue edge, with gold gilding, and scroll work in gold, and a multi colored ribbon pattern around the bowl, with gold trim, and scroll feet with gold. Very nice!!!
