Here we have, a very nice, Civil War era, lithograph. It is a military register, with names of Union soldiers, with the battles that they fought in, list of officers, and ranks of each person. Also, it has when and where they were wounded, and also the date it happened, and the date that some died, or deserted. The color is great, with nice coloring! There are some water spots in a couple of places around the edge, and one tear at the top center in the white border. Other than that, no other damage. The top is arched, like a window. It was lithographed by A. Hoen & C9., Baltimore, and published by George M. Lanckton, Washington, D.C. The dates marked at the base are, Organized at Chambersburg, Penna., Sept., 1862, and Mustered into U.S. Service at Harrisburg, Penna., Sept., 22, 1862. Been framed for a while. You can see where the litho has shifted, and the backing on one side edge is darker blue that the rest. Very nice piece!!!!
