Huge, Signed, H. Palidin, Italian, Cased, Art Glass Vase

This is a huge piece of art glass! It measures 18 5/8" high, 14" wide at the widest, and is 7" thick. The top measures 4 1/2" wide, and has a 3" opening, and the base is 4 3/4" x 2 3/4", and is ground smooth and signed, H. Palidin. The glass itself is 3/4" thick! Very nice piece, with three layers of cased glass, with the interior color being burgundy, and a thin layer of white, with the outer layer being mostly black, with a multi colored swirl effect around the bottom half of the vase. There are three photos of the signature, where I tried to get a good photo of it, but with the reflection of the light it is hard to do! Great condition, with a little wear on the base, and one very tiny spot on the ground top. It weighs 14# without being boxed, and wrapped. Very nice, and unusual piece of Italian Art Glass. Great piece to add to a collection!!!
