1880's, European, Spangle, Art Glass Vase, W/Gold Flakes & Applied Floral Rigaree

Here we have, a very nice, European, art glass, Spangle vase. It has three layers of cased glass, with the interior being white, the next or center layer being orange and yellow with gold flakes, and then cased in clear, with applied, pincered daisy rigaree going up both sides. It is in fantastic condition, with only one small nick on the inside edge of the ground top. There is no damage other than the small pin flake! Beautiful piece. It measures 6 3/4" high, 1 1/4" wide at the top, 4 1/2" wide at the widest point, and has a 2 1/4" base. The applied decoration can be found in the European Decorative Glass book, and the Spangle glass with the flakes is there also. Maker is unknown, and dates to around 1880. Great piece to add to a collection of art glass!
