Here we have, a nice, oriental, water or tea pitcher. It is hand painted and has a garden scene on both sides. One side has a lady and child with birds, and butterflies, and the other side is similar, with more birds, and Mt. Fuji in the background. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It measures 7" high, 6 3/4" wide from spout to handle, 3 1/4" wide at the opening, and has a 4" base. It is unmarked, so the maker is unknown. It may have had a lid at some point in its lifetime, but there isn't one with it, and I have no idea if it ever had one, but it could have! Nice coloring, with a white background, and green, pink, and blue decoration, with some gold gilding.
