Here we have, a large, banana boat, or bowl, made by Moser Art Glass. It dates to the late 1880's to early 1900. The coloring is green at the top, fading to clear at the bottom, and it has gold scroll gilding, al around the piece. Some of the gold is missing, where it has rubbed off the top edge, over the past 100 or so years, but there are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The base has some scratches, where it has been slid and moved around. It measures 13 1/2" long, 4 5/8" wide, and is 3" high. Very nice piece! This came from and estate sale, where there was some very nice pieces of art glass, and I was lucky to be able to get some of it.
