Edwardian 14kt White Gold Medusa Cameo Pin/Brooch

This is a museum quality cameo and is really beautiful with all it's wonderful detail.This cameo has outstanding carving as you can see. We have Medusa, like the snake?? and of course Perseus.They are framed by 14kt white gold and is marked on the clasp. This is from the mid to late 1800's and is very well carved and in excellent condition. This is what you call a triple layer which is more uncommon and much sought after. The cameo it's self is 2 3/8" inches by 1 3/4" inches, with the frame it is 2 1/2" inches by 2" inches. This can be worn as a pendent or pin. This has been in my private collection. It's time to pass it on to you.
