Antique Schoenhut 16 Inch Character Boy

This is a sweet character face boy. He has had facial restoration. His left hand has a couple of short fingers. He has a full blond mohair wig and big intaglio eyes. He displays sweetly in his full Amish suit. The suit is very well made. It has a felt hat with grosgrain ribbon,blue shirt with button holes and buttons,vest hook and eye closure,Jacket hook and eye closure, knickers with elastic suspenders and buttons in the front. He also has socks and high boots. He is a good doll for display at a reasonable price based on condition. He has the incised mark.His left leg is looser than the right but does not affect his ability to hold a pose nicely. I included him in a picture with his other friends who are also for sale.He is also showing you the copper jug he uses for milking the cows. The jug is being sold separately. The sale is for doll in full outfit only it does not include any props.These all wooden dolls were patented in 1911 By Schoenhut. They are American made antique dolls manufactured in Pennsylvania.
