Blue & White Gingham House Dress Hand Made '40's
SALE! 20% OFF! This is a sweet example of a day dress from the '40's. It is clearly hand made, but charming nonetheless. In blue and white gingham cotton. it features princess lines. The sleeves are short and cuffed, trimmed in white rick rack. The rick rack also trims the round neckline and the front placket. The placket is further enhanced with a scalloped edge and five 7/8" white buttons (one missing). Here are the details: 8 1/4" sleeves; 15" back; 37 1/2" shoulder to turned under hem; 35"' bust; 30" waist; 39" hip. The fit on the model seems to indicate this may be a junior size. There are no stains, no tears, a couple seams are open. They will be hand repaired upon request. We are going to offer this for a limited time at a price that we hope will appeal to the costumer for a small theater group.
