Bob Wolf Bronze Sculpture of Sporting Fisherman Lee Wulff

This detailed contemporary bronze of well-known sporting fisherman Lee Wulff (1905-1991) was done by American sculptor Bob Wolf (1937-2009). Wolf was a Nebraska native known for his wildlife sculptures. This bronze is titled “Soon To Be Released” on the front placard, showing Wulff fishing for trout in a knee-deep stream. The two trout shown are separate from the sculpture itself. This is a rather unique bronze with the rushing stream current shown at the sportsman’s knees. The bronze is in very good condition, and the fly rod is detachable at the base of the rod. Dimensions: 15-1/2"H (to tallest point on fishing rod) x 13”L x 6”W. Wooden base dimensions: 1-1/4”H x 14-3/4”L x 7-7/8”W.
