Wonderful oil painting of a moonlit beach scene with figures created in 1892 by Sweden-born, American artist Peter Roos (1850-1920). Roos lived and worked most of his life in the Boston, Massachusetts area and is best known for landscape, townscape and portrait paintings. Oil on canvas; signed and dated lower right. Housed in a nice gold frame. Dimensions: 22" x 30" unframed; 29.5" x 36.5" framed.
