First Edition, Second State of the wonderfully dramatic, classic novel "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. Copyright 1943 by the Bobbs-Merrill Company, New York. Printed by the Cornwall Press, Inc., Cornwall, N.Y. The book is in very good condition with a tight binding and very little discoloration of the pages. The dust jacket has come apart at the binding and is in a plastic protective covering. This state has "referred" on page 321, "G W." on page 381 and "Domininque" on page 480. There is a photo of Ayn Rand and three reviews of the book on the back cover. A special note from the author appears on the page directly preceding the table of contents.
