A quantity of vintage Underwood stereocards of Ireland, produced in England in the early 20th century. It consists of 41 cards, which are all from the 100 series of 'Ireland through the Stereoscope'. There is no box.
The images are all in average to good condition, with clear, sharp photos, but with medium contrast. The grey curved mounts are also all good, with some slight bumping on a few of the corners.
They are numbered and titled on the front, most with additional information on the reverse.
There are many images of Irish towns and villages with people in their daily lives, in traditional costume, as well as street scenes, factory scenes, farming scenes, markets, country and city scenes including Dublin, Killarney, Limerick, Queenstown and Cork
They were published by Underwood and Underwood around 1904 and are copyrighted between 1896 and 1904.
Card Size approx 7x3.25ins (17.5x9cms)
The condition I would estimate 7 out of10.
