A good example of a Pocket Kodak, miniature box camera made by Eastman Kodak in 1896.
This camera is in good cosmetic condition, fully working and comes with the original leather case.
The leather covered body has some minor damage to the base and some scuffs and marks generally to the surfaces.
The fittings are all in good condition.
The wooden and brass interior is very good, as is the shutter mechanism. It has a printed inscription '96 Model Pocket Kodak'
The original leather case is good, but is missing the catch. The case was made to take a plate back, which is rarely found.
A good example of this highly collectable camera, which is guaranteed totally original.
The camera was introduced by Kodak in July 1895. This one is the fifth production model introduced in June 1896.
