This is a fine antique Coin Silver Sugar Sifter/Strainer Spoon, produced by Hotchkiss & Schroeder, a Syracuse, NY, Silver maker during the Victorian Period...1853-1898 in business....this spoon is CA.1860's.

A fine example of the work that was produced by this Syracuse firm, and in mint condition, along with its Presentation Box, from the John T.Fox Jewelers in Rochester N.Y.

The size is approx.7.5" long, with the lightly gold washed bowl approx.2.75" x 2.25"...fine hand engraving and Twist Handle.

An excellent example in "unused" condition, it has been in our collection for many years...
