French Bronze Medallion, Hydro Electric Theme with Nude, CA.1950's
This is quite an "Artistic" Medallion....in Bronze, and oh so French!
Who else but the French would include a Nude Mademoiselle on a Medallion depicting the new "hydro Electric Dam"???? The Hydro Dam is just by her left hip, and her right arm is leaning on an ancient jar flowing with water...artist signed: "G.Simon".
Produced in the 1950's, and given to "P.Dorat", by "R.M.G.E. BORDEAUX" IN 1955...The size is approx.2-3/4" in diameter, and it is in excellent original condition and Patina.
A very intriguing Medallion for your collection....
