Vintage Miniature Canada Goose Decoy, by Bob Jobes, 1987
What a delightful Miniature Canada Goose....carved by Bob Jobes in 1987 (see signature on bottom of Decoy).....the size is approx. 8.5" long x 2.75" side x 3.75" tall at the top of the Head.
This is an early Miniature Decoy by this famous carver who still lives & carves in Havre de Grace, Maryland....I don't believe he is making miniatures at this time.
This miniature is very well carved and painted...excellent feathering....good design and form....very naturalistic, and the detail in this earlier period of carving seems to be more refined than his later and current carvings.
The Goose is in excellent condition, having been in a collection since it was purchased!! And now this Goose can fly to your collection....
