Most likely made in Western Germany or Czechoslovakia, this pin is in beautiful condition. It is probably from the 1940s or 1950s, when metals were harder to obtain for this purpose. The pinback shows wear, but the pin works with ease. There are eight fruit-filled wooden cups, three are attached to the screen portion of the pinback and five dangling from it. Three of the dangles are on a rope-type material that we cannot identify. It is in remarkably good condition, given its age, and has become a beige color. There are no stains on this material. The beads are glass and are scored to resemble berries. This is a large piece, measuring over 2.5 inches wide and 3.25 inches from the top to the bottom of the lowest dangle.
