Here is a little gem that is definitely one-of-a-kind. Apparently sold as a souvenir item in Yellowstone National Park, this scrapbook was to be used to document a tourist's trip. Whoever bought it has used it well and filled it with souvenirs of their cross-country trip made in 1930. The cover measures about 7 inches by 11 inches. There are 78 pages in the book and it documents a road trip taking in 1930 through Yellowstone National Park, Bryce Canyon, the Painted Desert, Balanced Rock, Pike's Peak, the Grand Canyon and more. There are over 100 photographs, over 175 postcards, some being real photo post cards, 1 pennant, and 9 national park/gasoline travel stickers. The photos include pictures of bears, travel cabins, horseback riding, national park landmarks, deer, gas stations, tunnels, and early cars. There are even some small photo cards picturing Buffalo Bill, William F. Cody. As an added bonus there are several pages of photos and cards from Tennessee, Washington DC., Alexandria, Virginia and assorted other scenes in the East. The scrapbook is in nice shape with very slight wear. The photos are all firmly attached. Some of the postcards have come lose from their mounts and are now laid in. The travel stickers have considerable wear.
