Swiss Travel Souvenir Booklet, Lucerne & Vierwaldstattersee, 1912

Sweetpea Cottage is offering this souvenir travel booklet picked up by a tourist who visited the region around Lucerne, Switzerland about 1912. There is no date in the booklet, but the time period is the same as other ephemera from the same collection that was obtained during the "Grand Tour" of Europe in 1912. The booklet contains 24 pages, all filled with full page black and white photos of the region around Luzern, or Lucerne. It measures 5 ½ by 8 inches. The cover has some fading on it around the edges, both on the front and back. The inside back cover has an insert advertisement for E. Klein Stationery, Photo Album, Souvenirs, and more. The condition of the item is very good with no dirty smudges or severe fraying of the corners. The previous owner has written her name on the cover in pencil. Check the scans closely as they will reveal everything that you need to know about this item.
