France at War by Somerset Maugham, First American Edition, w/DJ

Sweetpea Cottage is liquidating a collection of over 50 titles from a collection of books by and about the controversial author Somerset Maugham. Bookmark our shop so as to not miss any of the new titles as we list them in the coming months. Serious inquiries about buying the complete collection are always welcome.

This listing is for one of Maugham’s more difficult books to obtain, the stated first American edition of France at War, published by Doubleday Doran in 1940. Condition is near fine with beautiful dust jacket. There are several small pencil notations on the back of the dust jacket, but other than that it is in terrific shape. Overall, a bright copy of a lesser known work by this controversial author. This item is tough to find and competitively priced.

You can buy with confidence from Sweetpea Cottage. We stand behind everything that we sell.
