At one time the stylish lady would always carry a small leather purse with her for an evening out or Sunday morning at church. We are offering a wonderful purse done in the Arts and Crafts /Art Nouveau style that is unusual because of its smaller size. It measures about 6 ½ inches wide and 4 ½ inches tall. It has a delightful organic design pressed into the leather on one side. The interior is lined with green suede. The purse has two pockets inside, one for a mirror and the other for a change purse. The condition of the purse is excellent, both inside and out. It is clean and not scuffed. You would be quite comfortable using it as it is. The latch works well. The strap is original and also very nice. The name Jemco is stamped on the metal frame. There is a logo stamped on the suede inside but the impression is not strong and we are unable to decipher it. It also comes with a mirror and change purse for inside. The silvering on the mirror is crazed and deteriorating. The sewn seams on the change purse have split. Overall this is an outstanding item from a bygone era. Bigger is not always better. This little gem points out the beauty of being small, well done and in excellent condition.
