Amberina Pitcher in Inverted Thumbprint
This small creamer is a lovely piece of Amberina done in an Inverted Thumbprint. The bottom portion of the glass has a texture to it while to top is completely smooth. It has an applied amber handle and there are two tiny air bubbles in the top portion. I have not been able to identify the glass but it seems by the weight of the glass and the shape of the pitcher with its tiny neck to be in the late 60's early 70's style when Blenko, Kanawha and Pilgrim glass made fine unusual pieces. If anyone could help me identify this piece I would be grateful.
Our creamer stands 4 ¼" high by 5" from the spout to the back of the handle and it would be a wonderful addition to any vintage art glass collection.
