L.E. Smith White Carnival Bowl in Buzz Star Pattern ca 1960's
This beautiful iridescent vintage bowl has pastel rainbows of color and an opalescent luster. The pattern is Buzz Star, sometimes called Pinwheel or Starburst, and was part of the L.E. Smith's Heritage lines of glass.
This piece is cut out of a very heavy blank; about ½" thick and deeply patterned. It is marked on the inside with a S with L.G. inside the S.
This bowl is in excellent condition with only a tiny flea bite on one tooth. This is almost impossible to see but can be felt if you examine it very slow feeling completely around each tooth. This beauty measures 4" high by 7 ½" in diameter.
