Pretty Breyer Flaxen Chestnut Cantering Welsh Pony Model

Our pony looks like it was played with but only very carefully. There are some very light surface marks but nothing major. The ear tips are not damaged. It stands soundly and squarely, with no warps or twisted legs. PLEASE LOOK AT OUR PHOTOS !

The body color is a wonderful warm reddish brown, with nicely contrasting mane and tail. There is a blackish spot on the center of the face but this appears to be factory color that was misapplied. We have not tried to remove or lighten it. A lighter brown area just to the right and below the tail (SEE PHOTO) also is a production flaw.

This model was made only between 1970 and 1976 and is one of the harder to find "Cantering Welsh Pony" versions. It is shown and discussed in "Breyer Animal Collectors Guide" (Browell) where its book value is given as $36.00.
