Very Early WADE china horse tiny figurine - NOT a "whimsy"

This wonderful little light dun or palomino colt was one of my favorites when I was a child in the 1950s, and only recently did we discover that it is one of the very, very early Wade menagerie of china animals.

The little foal is cute, eating grass with its tail in the air. On one side of the base, the name WADE appears.

This little horse has no chips, cracks, flakes, crazing or other like damage. There are some brown specks here and there in the glaze, mostly underneath. These can be seen in our detailed close-up photographs.

This would be a fantastic find for a serious Wade collector or anyone who enjoys horse figurines.
