Designed by famed Coro designer Adolph Katz, this brooch is from the 1940's but from the great condition, one could never guess the age. The patent for this was filed on Aug. 17, 1948 and it is just lovely, with the most amazing details. Look carefully at the pictures and you can see the "reins" and "stirrups" and the rhinestone mane, saddle and tale. Sorry for the camera reflections. It is 2 3/4 inches long and in gold tone. This is truly an amazing example of figural 1940's brooch that looks like fine jewelry and will probably only go up in value.
