BEAUTIFUL Haviland Limoges Plate with Hand Painted Roses - - Artist Signed

This is just a GORGEOUS, Haviland Limoges, hand painted and artist signed, plate featuring a romantic bouquet of Victorian pink, roses and rosebuds nestled in lush greenery and highlighted with a radiant gold, border. It measures nearly 9 inches in diameter and reversed is a Haviland Limoges hallmark used between 1894 and1931.

The accomplished china painter, Joseph C. Beitler, who signed this masterpiece, also worked for Trenton Pottery, Pickard and Brauer prior to opening his own studio in 1907.

With the exception of the typical, light surface scratches on the gold, this hand painted, French beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
