This Limoges ladies' spittoon features a bouquet of romantic, yellow roses nestled in lush greenery and elegantly framed and accented with a radiant gold. Shaped like a draw-string purse this unique, molded and hand painted antique has a pure, classic white exterior. To the left of the bouquet of tea roses, the talented artist autographed their masterpiece with 3 initials. Reversed are some letters as well as a Tressemann & Vogt Limoges hallmark used between 1892 and 1907. The cuspidor is approximately 5.25 inches long and, from the tip of the rim to the base, measures 3 inches.
With the exception of a hint of gold wear, this hand painted and artist signed French beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
