Fenton 1984 FAGCA Plum Opalescent Strawberry Cuspidor

A 1984 Fenton Art Glass Collectors of America also known as 'FAGCA' Plum Opalescent Strawberry Pattern Spittoon Vase in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The piece is marked on the bottom with the Fenton Butterfly and the words 'FAGCA 1984'.

This is a special item that could only be purchased by members of the glass collectors club. Plum opalescent is a glass color Fenton discovered accidentally. It's cranberry glass that is heated differently, so it also has gold in the formula.

Most of Fenton's plum opalescent glass pieces were special orders like this one.

This spittoon vase measures 3.5 inches tall, and 4.5 inches wide across the top.
