A very unusually decorated Piggy Bank marked Prudhoe Pottery. The most I can find during my research on this pottery is that Prudhoe is in Great Britain. Not sure if there is a town with the same name in the United States.
This whimsical little pig is quite special with his daisy pattern and toothed circular designs impressed into the clay. Definitely one of a kind, but the raised mark looks very professional. His curly tail has been hand applied and I think the coin slot was also hand done. I love his long snout. You'll have to search far and wide to find another. He is definitely unique.
He is 3 3/4 inches tall and 6 inches in length with no chips, damage or repairs. Just some overall crazing and the marks of a handmade work by a talented artist. Enjoy!
