Late 1800s/Early 1900s High Top Button up Shoes
This is a fabulous pair of black leather high top lady's shoes from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Each shoe has eleven buttons up the side - all are present. The shoes are 9 inches long measuring from the toe to the back of the heel. They are very narrow, measuring only 2 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. Height is 7 1/4 inches. Inside there is some lettering which indicates '3-D', although I think a D width would be very wide, which these shoes are not.
The soles are in very good worn condition, with the heels being low flats. The original leather coloring is showing through. I consider these shoes to be in very good condition, but of course, not new.
