'Gustavian' style country longcase Clock from Sweden

An Interesting and very decorative18th century grandfather (or longcase) Clock from Sweden. In old grey/white paint a very naive rustic example of the 'Gustavian' style, the clock comes with two heavy original iron weights, one of which drives the clock's striking chain . A real primitive country piece, the front panel with little glass window is detachable. In good working condition with some natural wear.

Measures 84 inches high x 22 wide x 7 deep.
