A very attractive traditional 'Nursing' Armchair from France, circa 1880-1900, -often called "Bonne Femme' ( Good Wife ), made of walnut and re-upholstered in very fashionable modern printed linen (silver laced wyandotte roosters) with black trim. Of traditional ladder-back construction, the armchair has delicate bobbin-turned supports to the arms and legs , and 'ears' which protrude forward 6 inches on each side. Measures 37 inches high x 25 wide x 22 deep
