A Fine example of a large scratch-built & carvel-hulled Scottish Pond Yacht with interesting mix of woods- beech, boxwood, oak & teak- and including original mast and sails. Measuring 70 inches overall length by 108 inches high to the mast-top and with the wood hatch-cover lifting off to reveal internal metal carrying handle, this pond sailer on its custom made stand would probably have been used in a model yachting club at the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century. In good condition with some small damage marks to one side of hull. Originates from Scotland
