Art-Nouveau period Tiled Planter from a park in Barcelona, Spain.
A beautiful tiled cement Planter or Jardiniere from a public park in Barcelona Spain.
In Art-Nouveau style, circa 1890-1910, from the era of the great Catalan architect Antonio Gaudi, who was beginning to build Barcelona's 'Sagrada Familia' cathedral.
The planter has tiled 'bun' feet and measures 72 inches wide x 26" high x 20" deep
In slightly worn condition - one foot having an old cement repair,- and some plain background tiling missing -(see photos) . ( Far from detracting , this actually emphasizes the vibrant tiling motifs)
