A lovely antique French sterling silver napkin ring. Decorated with fine guilloche engraving. A ring of paneling encircles the napkin ring, bordered by a pair of friezes patterned with floral garland festoons topped by ribbon knot bows. A charming motif. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard hallmark, which depicts the head of the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of .950/1000 silver (95% pure silver and a higher grade of finesse than .925 sterling!) In overall good antique condition. Measures 1 5/8" tall x 2" diameter Weighs 41.8g
